Horton Inc. is offering an Information Technology internship at our Roseville Headquarters location. Responsibilities

  • Assist with the support of corporate enterprise applications including Oracle EBS, Microsoft CRM, Microsoft Office 365 and Siemens PLM Teamcenter.
  • Brainstorm new technology solutions and help bring ideas to life.
  • Work with the application development team to support and enhance the corporate Business systems.
  • Create effective technology training material to help end users be more productive in their jobs.
  • Ensure consistency of corporate IT assets through implementation and management of an asset tracking system.
  • Assist in end user IT support, workstation configuration and software deployment.
  • Work with the application development team to support and enhance the corporate Business systems.
  • Assist the IT infrastructure team in the procurement and deployment of new software and hardware.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Computer Science or other Information Technology related degree with strong academic performance (3.0 GPA or above)
  • Demonstrated leadership, strong initiative and decision-making skills
  • Strong technical skills and some familiarity with Windows computers, computer networking, end user support and troubleshooting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter who can work well independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across the organization
