Horton, Inc., a global airflow industry leader in reliability, service and innovation has an opening for a Plant Finance Intern to work in our Britton, SD location.


Position Summary:

Assists the plant controller in providing in-depth operational and financial analysis to the plant management staff to improve processes and reduce inefficiencies/costs.


Under direction of plant controller, perform the following activities:

  • Monthly inventory reconciliation
  • Assist with plant metrics/reporting
  • Process ECO’s
  • Fixed asset tagging project
  • Assist with month end close process


Ideally a third-year accounting student with an interest in cost accounting/manufacturing.  Proficent in Microsoft Excel.


Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
