Horton, Inc., a global airflow industry leader in reliability, service and innovation has an opening for a Human Resource Intern to work in our Roseville Corporate Headquarters.
Complete a variety of human resource projects while working full time in the summer. Then if applicable continuing projects part time in the fall.
Post new positions
Participate in initial phone screens
Scheduling onsite interviews
Prepare materials for new hires and orientations
Own job files for Affirmative Action
Create new hire personnel files
Greet new hires/interview candidates
Double check work for our current assistant
Create and record Mindflash trainings
Audit current training site
Assist with new employee orientation
Have observe and offer ideas for ways to enhance and create new hire binders and manuals
Sit in on new hire orientation
Assist with Manager Onboarding
Assist with intern program, etc.
Assist with some administrative duties i.e. filing, data entry, back up for front desk, participate in United Way, and Employee Event committee
Safety data entry as needed
Audit current employee personnel files
Review recent files for completion, missing documents, match dates out from Cigna to UltiPro, etc.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Senior student pursuing bachelor’s degree in human resources.
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Relocation allowance may be provided if the individual has all of the necessary qualifications.
