    Company Information: Horton, Inc., a global airflow industry leader in reliability, service and innovation has an opening for an Driver/Technician to work in our Roseville Corporate Headquarters.

     

    Position Summary: This is a unique position that includes assistance in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner to the Chairman of the Horton Board. The incumbent will be responsible for safely transporting Chairman (and possibly other employees) to/from their destinations, as well facilities maintenance of our Roseville, MN location

     

     

    Responsibilities

    MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: (*indicates peripheral functions)

    • Driving/Travel
      • Transport Chairman in accordance with the schedules and directives provided.
      • Safely and timely drive the employer to work and back, and to occasions
      • Consider different routes, check climate and traffic reports to decide the best time to travel and the best route to take.
      • Accompany Chairman on corporate airplanes to various locations.  Travel may be up to 10%.
      • Provide ambulatory assistance to Chairman.  Assistance may include: providing support for standing, walking, and negotiating steps and curbs; lifting, moving, and transferring passengers; maneuvering wheelchairs/walkers on steps, curbs, and uneven and slippery surfaces; insuring that passengers use vehicle steps, seat belts, and other safety equipment in an appropriate manner.
      • Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance, as well as on-the-road vehicle maintenance (e.g., adding fluids, inflating tires, etc.).
      • Keep vehicles clean, neat, and fuel the vehicles at the end of each shift.
      • Keep a travel log to record locations travelled to, travel time, and work hours
    • Maintenance of Roseville location
      • Manage contractors
      • Clearing snow from entrances and walkways.
      • Aiding staff, visitors, and other employees as necessary.
      • Working collaboratively with current facilities department.
    •     Other job duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Possesses a valid state driver’s license for type of vehicle driven. Clean driving record. Knowledge of the Metro area. Experience with automobile maintenance. Flexible schedule. 

     

    Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.  Relocation allowance may be provided if the individual has all of the necessary qualifications.
