Overview

Horton, Inc., has an opening for a 1st shift Viscous Assembler to work in our Westminster, SC location. Standard hours are 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday-Thursday. Overtime is needed, as required. Pay starts at $18.87 per hour and depends on experience.

 

Position Information:

Inspects components, assembles, tests, packages and transports fan clutches and subassemblies to finished goods area.

Responsibilities

Viscous Assembler Responsibilities:

  • Assembles units using assembly and sales drawings as well as follows standard assembly procedures.
  • Continuously performs quality checks on assembled units using inspection equipment and test stand.
  • Performs visual checks to piece parts and assembled units.
  • Packages and prepares units/piece parts for shipment to customers.
  • Attaches all identifying labels and serial numbers.
  • Boxes finished units, including hardware and literature, and palletize boxes per standard operating procedure.
  • Records finished goods information on the job sheet.
  • Uses material handling equipment to move finished goods to the shipping area.
  • Exhibits and performs basic personal computer functions in various software systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Viscous Assembler Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma, or equivalent (GED).
  • Previous relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship provided.
